C-221. Frontier or precipice?

A balance ratio of >1++ signals the danger of an approaching tipping point. A ratio of >1+++ says (shouts!), “Over the edge!” Such ratios beset us on every side, from decision making/problem solving >1+++ (the “other climate problem”) to the current pandemic’s work/jobs >1++.

Precipitous behavior. To falter from step imbalance is as much a matter of consequentiality as the body’s fall from a ledge. And step imbalances are many, serious and uncorrected: After-the-fact/before the fact >1++; learn/know >1++; Adopt/Adept >1++; KT/KMmt >1++; agree/understand >1++; responsibility/capability >1++; control system/operating system >1 ++; etc. All of which follow in the wake of B-ness/R-sense >1+++ -- contrary to History’s more balanced “body CEM step,” but consonant with observers’ biased evolution/development >1++.

Yet we live ON, AT the Frontier. The World of Possibility ahead of us. (“Us,” unfortunately: the “us/we” ratio is pushing >1+++ too. Although not quite so far gone as history/History >1+++.) We lack an R-sense of the here and now, so we do not live smoothly or impressively – i.e., with step strength.

The dichotomy of choice (Frontier vs. precipice) is misleading. WISA is masking important features of WTITBTA and WICF. WTITBTA are the two spacetimes: B- and R-. WICF is the capability to take and make “steps” in both of them. WTITBTA points TO a “bi-ness”: two worlds for our two feet. WICF is what we need (i.e., the CEM beyond “bi-“) for We to walk Forward in our steps.

B-ness and B-speak are the ball and chain pulling against this adventure, holding us back. Color us purple: purple with perplexity. We are frustrated, time after time, trying to get from needed functionality to achieved functionality. We try harder (“Whatever it takes!”). Support goes up. But support CEM help is not realized. “All that it takes” says something is missing.

R-sense and WISA color offer technological help here. Color would dramatize the R-sense sequence from needed functionality to achieved functionality: Red: the needed functionality; Yellow: the developed capability; Green: composing with the developed capabilities; Blue: the achieved functionality.

Operating without a development strategy, efforts to bridge the gap between red and blue (without development’s CEM principles) can be expected to yield purple. Which seems to be the fate of Utopian schemes, when needed functionality goes unmet. Which may be the fate of any community enterprise in which Union is presumed to be the product without regard to how it will be realized as process.

Without a Grasp of the Nature of Things – as an Involve -- and all that this entails. Most tellingly, that solution of the behavioral problem, Pbeh, is the key to making “community” work … a solution that requires Accord’s “CEM” developmental mechanism. The structure of process is WICF – and procedural technology to bring it about.
